MassLive: Senate President Stan Rosenberg calls for statewide homeless prevention efforts as concerns mount in Springfield

CHICOPEE — Senate President Stan Rosenberg, in response to questions about placing homeless families in motels and temporary apartments, said Friday there will be a statewide effort focused on homeless prevention policies.

Rosenberg’s comments occurred as he and nearly 20 other legislators attended a legislative reception on Friday morning at the Castle of the Knights on Memorial Drive, sponsored by the Human Service Forum.
